Radiohead is an English rock band formed in 1985. The band members met as kids while attending a school for boys in Oxfordshire. Frontman Thom Yorke and bassist Colin Greenwood were in the same year, instrumentalist Jonny Greenwood(Colin’s brother) was two years below, and guitarist Ed O’Brien and drummer Philip Selway were the years above. They bristled at the school’s strict rules and credited their music teacher for introducing them to jazz, avant-garde, and film scores. Radiohead’s earliest musical influences included Bob Dylan, Queen, Elvis Costello, and Pink Floyd.
